On Wednesday 31st March 2010 between 6.00 - 7.00 pm you can come to Eaton Village Hall to pay your rent for 2010/11 and discuss any matters relating to the Allotments.

It was decided at a recent Parish Council meeting that the lights in Goadby Marwood would be switched of at midnight and on again at 6.00am in the winter.In the case of Eastwell it was decided to leave matters as they were and to date no decision has been taken on Eaton.

Due to the age of the existing street lighting equipment over the next couple of years replacements will have to be made. Due to advances in photo cells it is now possible to have individual street lights set go off at different times. In view of the current financial climate and environmental issues the Parish Council is considering when replacing faulty eqipment to have the majority of lights go off around midnight, this would not of course be in sensitive areas.
